Nicole by OPI Unveils New Liquid Metals Collection

We know it may be a little too early to be thinking of "New Year, New You" ideas, but we just received word of Nicole by OPI's latest nail polish collection, Liquid Metals

And we want it now, please!

These four new metallic shades remind us of beach holidays with a glamourous edge.

The nail lacquer lineup includes Miss Independent (mauvey metal), The Next CEO (pure gold), Rich in Spirit (silvery seafoam), and It Starts with Me (sandy champagne).

"Metallic shades are perfect to wear with all clothing colors, adding some easy edge to your wardrobe," says Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, Nicole by OPI's Executive VP & Artistic Director.

Love, love, love all the metallics that will start us off on the right nail or toe, come January.

Nicole by OPI Liquid Metals will be available Jaunary 2011 at ULTA, Walmart, Target, Sears, Harmon, HEB, and Wegmans.

Chanel Spring 2011 Makeup Collection Is Black, White and 'Perle' All Over

Chanel always dazzles us with its innovative nail shades and shimmery palettes of shadow and blush. And their Spring 2011 makeup collection is no exception!

It's inspired by Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel's belief that the light-reflecting effect of pearls enhance a woman's natural beauty by bringing a luminosity to her skin.

For Spring, Peter Philips, Global Creative Director of Chanel Makeup, makes everything radiant with Les Perles de Chanel. The eye shadow palette and powder blush offer pearlized shades of black and white punctuated by illuminating pinks and corals that will leave skin glowing.

For the lips, there are shades of rose, pink and iridescent white in lipstick and gloss offerings. And, last but surely not least, the nail polishes in the collection are peach, white and black infused with pearl.

Les Perles De Chanel will be available at Chanel.com, Chanel boutiques and department stores January 2011.

Megan Fox Hearts Grey Nail Polish

Then, she posed for Nylon Magazine. And now, Megan Fox is sealing her newfangled (or, in the case of her new movie "Jennifer's Body," just fangled) indie credo with a firmly subversive beauty move - matte grey nail polish.

Our sources tell us that Fox stepped out last night in New York City wearing a shade called Astor Place from Dashing Diva, a purple-based grey shade with an of-the-moment matte finish.

Apparently it was love at first sight - a Dashing Diva nail tech met the 23-year-old star in her room at The Four Seasons Hotel, and she instantly picked the color to match her dark burgundy dress.

This isn't the first time Fox was spotted with grey tips - she was photographed on October's cover of Cosmopolitan wearing dove grey polish.

A solid trend since last fall, grey tips now span both sexes - Seal sported them to this year's Emmys.

Hopefully, Fox doesn't slay him for stealing her look.
